This has been illuminating to see that the problem lies with black people,no matter how much they deny it.
How white people feel isn't our business.

And i'm glad you're feeling illuminated. I don't know about your "denial" comments, but that assumes that you're owed some sort of confirmation by us of your opinions. You're not...just wanted to let you know that. Besides, no matter what we say, your mind was made up when you arrived here...not that we should be trying to convince you of anything to begin with.

Have you achieved nirvana here in America? Bully for you. I salute you. Go have a Coke and a smile, on me.
You said that "we" aren't the ones who set that up, I'm just wondering who that "we" is...

Damn....finally an epiphany. You finally get it.

And you can miss us with that "divisive" nonsense. You apparently aren't aware of the history of this country. It was divisive when you hopped off of the airplane.

THANK YOU for finally stating you aren't Americans first, you care more about your skin color than you do this nation.

It should help those who still think black people are kept apart somehow by America, when it is really your own choosing to not want to be part.

Those of you who feel this way are similar in some ways to white supremacists.

This thread and those who responded in a similar fashion will be useful when there is a discussion in the future about how black people feel alienated by American culture....showing that several black posters here consider themselves black before they consider themselves Americans will show where the problem lies.

White supremacy is the problem. Not black people.

You are American first and foremost,to think you are anything else first shows a lot to me about someone.

When was the last time that you honestly sat down and talked to someone odfcolor that has lived through the sixties or even fifties, instead of sitting in the safe confines of your home typing about how "ideal" the world should be instead what it really is?
