This is almost comic, if it weren’t so….real. And painful, for a lot of folks.

The Wisconsin state Senate has adjourned indefinitely awaiting the arrival of Democrats who skipped town on Thursday.

Republicans met briefly today and adjourned. Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says it can reconvene in short notice at any time, including over the weekend, if Democrats return.

Fitzgerald says he has no idea where the Democrats are and he hasn’t been in contact with Minority Leader Mark Miller since Thursday.
Oh, this gets ‘curioser.’ Turns out they fled to Illinois. ........

Time and investigation will expose the truth. Til then, just pointless arguing. The effect of what happened in the election is undeniable, and portends a dismal summer for some Rep Senators.

Too funny, union lies, money and voter fraud couldn't win this for the Dems and it is somehow a loss for Republicans!! The left has truly lost it.

Um....I just have to ask - you've heard that Prosser now has a potentially insurmountable lead, even if there is a recount?

The effect of all the union/Left nastiness, death threats, intimidation, extortion clearly inspired people to get out and vote...FOR PROSSER.

For some reason, leftists can't understand that normal, common sense people abhor the tactics and disgusting threats employed by the Left/unions...and it looks like they PAID for that nastiness at the voting booth.

Another thing the Left needs to understand - they are drastically OUTNUMBERED in this country by conservatives and moderates.

Even with a biased, friendly media that tried to couch the union/Left efforts in WI as something good, the PEOPLE of WI weren't fooled it seems.

This victory by Prosser should be the hammer to the nail of that great awakening by the unions/Left some were talking about. The "movement" will run out of steam, just like a deflated balloon. Oh, while they were busy in WI, the unions have suffered devastating defeats elsewhere, in SWING states, where it will be difficult for them to "collect" all that cash for obama and other dem candidates in 2012.

Face saving in the wake of a humiliating defeat (hopefully, barring any last minute box of kloppenhag ballots found in a trunk somewhere).

The Left is acting more and more like iron fisted Communists. So fitting.

They appear to have miscalculated their "support" in the state AND nation. Of course, if they based their supposed mandate on what was happening in Madison, a bastion of liberalism, then we understand just how much they deluded themselves into believing they had state-wide support.
