You guys up in the North East have no clue what you're talking about, states like Louisiana are at the top of the list for good reason.

I understand that there's corruption everywhere but in the South in states like Louisiana they take it to whole different level. The only state that can hold a candle to LA politics is IL and I still think they're a close second. Just do some reading about Edwin Edwards and you'll see what I mean.

Hey, NJ had 44 politicians and assorted other crooks carted off in one sting in 2009, I think that should move us up the list!

I agree. To be honest I was actually surprised Tennessee and North Carolina were not up there.

The FBI has been in my Pennsylvania county investigating corruption for the last couple of years, this would be from the "Kids for cash" scandal many people would be familiar with. They are up to 30 people that have plead guilty, under indictment or awaiting sentencing. 3 judges, 1 county commissioner, a bunch of school directors and various other elected and appointed officials. There's also two former commissioners from adjoining county and a few private lawyers and businessman involved. The suspicion is that the axe is going to fall on many, many, many more. Possibly hundreds....
