A 28-year-old Deerfield man allegedly tried to cut through a neighbor’s apartment door with a chainsaw, causing the woman to jump off her second-story balcony, police said.

Lukasz W. Strama, of the 11oo block of Osterman Avenue, was charged with criminal trespassing and criminal damage to property after he allegedly wielded a gas-powered chainsaw to cut into a woman’s apartment door at about 4:45 p.m. on March 14, said Deerfield’s Deputy Chief Tom Keane.

The woman called police after she saw the blade edge of the chainsaw coming through her door, Keane said.
She put her two dogs on the balcony patio and then jumped off, leaving her dogs behind, Keane said. She was not injured in the fall, he added.

This is where a gun comes in handy. a quick double tap right through the door would solve that problem.

Nine rounds of 00 buck from my 590 in 10 seconds would have ruined his life.

but but but... the anti gun nuts will tell you if no one had guns, no one would get hurt. They better start the ban on chainsaws now also.

Me, I would first fire my antique Colt Police Positive and alternately fire my AMI 380 in between.

I don't know about fun, but satisfction of me being alive and the perp being dead, would work for me. I gotta get me a 12 ga pump and Henry Repeater also. Lacking in the rifle department except for a percussion cap .50 cal breech loader from the Civil war.

Journalist today are such stupid pansies, I want to know the brand of the chainsaw and the length of the bar. WTF? Was it some cheap little Lowes brand POS with a little 12" bar on it or was a Stihl 880 with a 40" bar knocking at the door at WFO throttle?
