Well they claim they can. Check out the program they have with Behavioral Detection Officers. Totally dismissed as junk science by scientists, psychiatrists etc. but that doesn't stop them from using it.

And yet, there are those (including on this forum) who will vehemently defend the TSA and the administration which runs it. I'm still wondering just what are their goals to defending something which is just so blatantly wrong? Despite the fact that it's demonstrated that the scanners, et al. procedures still miss a lot of stuff. This is not making us safer at all.

I don't think the DHS guy just woke up and became a perv at 55. Do you? The question reporters should be asking is whether he got his security clearance before or after he was hired. You may not know this but the federal government doesn't typically complete their security clearances before you are hired.

Liberal political correctness. 6 year old girls should not be subject to scanning OR enhanced pat downs, but since the left have insisted we shouldn't target and "profile" the REAL terrorists, this is what we have.
