The fact of the matter is that Congressman Ryan voted with George W. Bush 94% of the time. That’s why Ryan’s 2007 Republican Liberty Caucus Liberty Index score, which ranks members of Congress on their voting record from a constitutional perspective, was 91% on economic issues but only 56% on social issues. In 2006, his score on the Liberty Index was 66% on economic issues and 67% on social issues. He has scored better on the Liberty Index; his 2008 score, for example, was 88 both on social and economic issues — an impressive score.
Tsk tsk...he seems to be "born again" in the face of Obama. Me thinks he's not as sincere as people think he is.
Or maybe, its because the POLICIES were changing due to a different president and a change in who controlled Congress.
So, he received a low fiscal rating because democrats made him vote for those spending bills? Isn't that the same childish game the Obamatrons are playing?

Actually his score went up because he opposed the spending bills..
The results are for LIMITED government.
And you need to look at the questions asked to determine if he is for limited government or not..
in 2006 for example
Off Shore Drilling Permits
Free Trade Agreements
Gulf of Mexico off shore drilling permits
Estate tax repeal.
Judge Alitos confirmation
etc.. They are NOT spending bills despite your claims
There are a few of them, but they are for a a billion or so in 1996, compared to 1999 bills being listed dealing with HUNDREDS of billions.
If you cant tell the difference between supporting a $1B bill, and $828B bill then you need to talk to a math teacher..

FAIL.. TARP returned billions of dollars to the taxpayers in PROFIT and saved the nation from a complete economic collapse. Using that vote as an indication that they oppose big government is ridiculous, since an economic collapse would surely have meant substantial growth in government..
The bailout for GM and Chrysler was part of TARP..
And you are now telling me we didnt need stimulus spending? Or are you now only objecting to it because it was Ryan that voted for it?
