by the way, the tea party did not win this budget battle and the republicans and democrats can go off into the sunset holding hands yet again:
some great comments from Jim Rickards (Twitter):
•we're talking about fiscal 2011 which has a higher deficit than 2010 so in reality THERE ARE NO CUTS
•2010 deficit at $1.3T, & 2011(est) at $1.6T
• 2010 outlays at $3.5 T, & 2011 (est) outlays at $3.8 T
•These "cuts" are from auto-increases
• "We're spending more but not AS MUCH MORE as we threatened" moment? Only inside beltway is that a cut
also, on antiwar.com today there is an article that obama is going to outspend bush on military and will actually stop some of the drawdown in europe.
so the republicans got the big government spending bush and the democrats got the big war obama, and all of us got 2 back-to-back representatives who cared more about aid to other countries than taking care of their own country. (why do you think obama got elected? look at his legislation when he was a senator-the little legislation that he did support was either pro illegal immigration, or for forgiving the debts of other countries, etc.).
more importantly, both were instrumental in the bank and GM bailouts, and supported the federal reserve agenda.
it seems we have all been screwed.

OK prove me wrong, show me a convention full of Tea Partiers cheering for champions of liberty and not establishment Republicans.
I can't do that. I am just telling you that I and my friends are Tea Party members and not affiliated with Repbulicans. It seems desperate for people to assume that all Tea Party members are hard core right wingers.

You won some seats because you took the money.
I am as sick of government growing out of control as much as any self described Tea Party advocate.
I am also not a fan of rich greedy fools.
Get your Tea Party together and people will listen.
Even those of us that do not like tea.
Coffee party, now that makes sense.
Freedom party, even more so.
Do not be conned. I learned this a lot of this $hit from some very smart women.
And do not fear Democrats.
Fascist use the lexicon liberal to label all anti-fascists with the same stroke of the brush. usually only when 'Commie' falls short of their intellect.

I didn't say all, I know several libertarians who are also involved in Tea Party politics. My point is if your goal is the advancement of liberty and not a right wing, pro military, pro corporate cronies, pro controlling peoples personal life, than you are wasting your time in the Tea Party.
They have been hijacked by the right wing for the sole purpose of making sure people assume liberty equals republican, it is a great way to keep the liberty movement down. (The Dems are just as eager to see this also, hence all the Tea Bagger/GOP links) If the average independent thinks Sarah Palin is the standard bearer of liberty, no one will look to liberty for the solution.
