It has nothing to do with it. We could say the same for about any bill Congress passes. I wish every bill had to stand on its' own merit, but that never happens.
If it was up to me, I would award the ability to cut 250 billion dollars to each of the major parties with the caveat that they can only cut from their opponents favorite issues with no recourse from the opponents. Follow that path for a few years and we can snap back into shape.
All of this arguing about cutting either 30b or 60b is frankly embarrasing given the shape we are in. I can understand not taking an absolute hatchet to the budget all at once, but 2% in cuts is insulting when coupled with the magnanimous grandstanding by the politicians acting as if they have truly done something substantial.

You have it exactly backwards. Obama could, like his predecessors, issue an EO directing the troops are to be paid, but he won't do that. Despicable behavior for this fraud piece of garbage to USE the troops like that.

No wonder more and more people don't believe this shyster is an American.
