An Army doctor convicted of disobeying orders to deploy to Afghanistan because he questioned whether Barack Obama was eligible to be president was sentenced to six months in a military prison. He also will be dismissed from the military, meaning he will forfeit a nearly $90,000 annual salary and a pension.

It;s a conspiracy, man. A conspiracy created by nuts. Innocent until proven more innocent. ROFL.
You're right, refusing to obey orders and missing movement on the basis of a conspiracy theory based on wild speculation and outright lies, on the other hand, is a very serious offense. It isn't treason though.
Also, he made sure to take his paid leave before missing movement, though he knew he was going to. And the doctor that had to go in his place had about 48 hours to be ready, and wasn't fully prepared for a mass casualty that happened almost immediately after he got there.
If it was, so is refusing to be conscripted after one has been drafted. Which means millions of libs from the 60's and 70's should be in jail for treason.
