Wal mart was trying to copy Target and was losing ground. They knew what they were doing 10, 15, and 20 years ago and needed to get back to that game plan.
30 years ago K mart was accused or running private mom and pop stores out of business. 50 years ago it was Sears. Now its Wal mart but Target gets a free pass. Target is supposed to be " Hip" but sells cheap stuff much like Wal mart to people who think they're hipper than Wal mart shoppers but are just clueless.
No progressives were hired to run things wanted to change base/core and it is not working
So a person having no job is better off than a person who is employed by Wal*Mart? HUH?
Small businesses went out of business because people cared less about "the personal touch" and more about being frugal with their money.....
People had to start being frugal with their money when their wages began dropping below poverty such as that of WalMart employees.
