Passport Proof of Citizenship Requirements

And Hawaii's COLB meets the requirements of the US State Department and Passport Division.

Let's see that list:
http://travel.state.gov/passport/get...first_830.html

Quote:
*A certified birth certificate has a registrar's raised embossed, impressed or multicolored seal
Check - Obama's has a raised seal as seen on Factcheck's photos.

Quote:
registrar's signature, and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar's office, which must be within 1 year of your birth.
Check - as seen on the front and back of Obama's COLB

Quote:
Beginning April 1, 2011, all birth certificates must also include the full names of the applicant's parent(s).
Check - Obama's parents full names appear on his COLB.

Quote:
Please note, some short (abstract) versions of birth certificates may not be acceptable for passport purposes.
^^ This stipulation would apply to those who have tried to use HOSPITAL Souvenir certificates, or what many call "wallet" form Certificates. Some states provide smaller / evne more abstracted forms of their vital records, and would be one of those that are not accepted as proof of birth in the US. Since Obama's is neither, this doesn't apply to him.

And I know that Hawaii's COLB is fully accepted by the US State Department because....

I'm from Hawaii. I lived there for 30 years. I got my first passport in 1995 on a COLB copy I got in 1990 (when I started working for the first time) and it looked similar to the COLB below, which was issued in 1991:

(The above is a COLB released to the public as part of the investigation into Peter "Boy" Kema's child abuse case, in Hawaii. This was issued in Sept of 1991)

Guess you didn't read your own link

"Long forms may become obsolete in years to come, as many states have begun to use Electronic Birth Registration systems."

I read it just fine, may become is not the same as already has become. if AZ wants to put into law saying that a long form has to be provided, then all cadidates have to give it up or not get on the ballot. no matter who the crook...politician is.

Where the hell does it state anything about not being computer generated??

Secondly, the information below is what is needed to get a passport (from the state Dept website). Now I can tell you all the information that is required below is on my certified copy of my birth certificate (which is a short form) I got from the state below. Now do you notice any of the requirements listed below that is not on Obama's birth certificate?? Hint, the answer is no...

Quote:
In addition to this requirement, certified copies of birth certificates must also include the following information to be considered acceptable primary evidence of U.S. citizenship:
Full name of the applicant
Date of birth
Place of birth
Raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal of issuing authority
Registrar’s signature
The date the certificate was filed with the registrar’s office (must be within one year)

And many states have been using Electronic Birth Registrations for almost 2 decades.

Hawaii has been using Database driven records since 1990. Anyone born since 1990 in Hawaii, can only get abstracts of their birth certificate.

Why are you using a website that isn't sanctioned by the US Government?

Why are you relying on their "definition" of what legal Certified birth certificate is, and not what the STate Department accepts as a certified birth certificate?
