I never recalled stating I hate people who want to maintain their heritage ;I'm simply speaking about equality and balance opportunities which we all know will be thrown out the window once the Mexican population reaches 40% which is expected by 2050.

They already feel they have ownership and rights to this country. They lost the fight fair and square and as Americans we have rights to enforce these immigration laws. My criticism isn't toward the Hispanic community, but those here illegally.

A Hispanic can never be a Latino and vice-versa.

Just FYI.

Then why does Univisión always have a segment during commercials about "Orgullo Hispanos"? when talking about Latin Americans?

Never seen it although most Spanish language programming available in the U.S. I have seen is either Mexican or a bit of Colombian and Argentine. You would never mistake the three.

I would answer your question by indicating that the media tends to portray us as better than what we are. Marketing at its best. Unless the episode is specifically dealing with the downtrodden.

A person can be Hispanic and live in Latin America. There is a distinction in culture and heritage between Latinos and Hispanics.
