The foul speculators are causing oil to go up. Their names should be published & whatever happens to them is their own doing.

Totally correct.

Once OPEC saw that the idiot in the WH was shutting off drilling of our own oil the prices started climbing.

Liberals have a hard time understand how things work.

Oil prices are based on several things, one being speculation and the other two I can think of are availability and potential to drill our own oil.

Guarantee you that if the idiot opens up all water and land for oil drilling the prices would drop like a rock.

Pelosi promised 4 years ago to go after the oil companies, she lied.

Obama promised to create millions of NEW high paying energy jobs including ways to fuel our cars, he lied.

Thanks to Obama prices might hit 5.00 per gallon soon.

So we drill. Then what? It's a global commodity. But then again, I buy a tank of the stuff a month, if that. I get that fuel prices impact ALL prices, but I also think we could all stand to find a little more efficiency in our lives, and no one ever streamlines until gas spikes.

Make sense to anybody besides Fox News?

Are we ready to spill baby spill some more?
"Fox"?....the network itself claims this to be the reason or someone who was on Fox claimed this? Supply a link please.

George Step. interviewing Obama asked why not drill into out reserves, isn't that what they're for?, and Obama sidestepped the question. I think he was asked twice about it. We will save our oil until there's no longer any use for it.

Prices have gone up primarily because President Obama has decided to print money to get us out of the recession.

And everyone needs to remember governemnt makes more off a gallon of gasoline in tax revenue than oil companies make in profit. Substainally more.

Thats what they said 15 years ago about drilling and we be better off now if we had drilled . We could of sold some of that oil to China instead of borrowing money from them we can't repay?

All this isn't new the government and business had known there was going to be a shortage and dependancy on the Middle East just after WW2 and what has Congress done ?

Speculators panic when offshore rig permits are allowed to go forward.
