Sorry, re-read my post and saw my mistake. That last line was for the guy who hates children in restaurants. It's late and people make mistakes when sleepy.

P.S. - I am from a generation where grandmas put whiskey or port wine on gums for teething!!!

I remember getting hot toddies when we had a cold. One of my best childhood memories!

My first thought was no...I wouldn't. But how does that happen? It had to have been poured into the cup by the server, or some other employee. Why does someone pour margarita mix into a kid's cup?

It was negligent and could have cost the life of a child, you're damned right if it happened to my child or grandchild I would have my attorney on the butt so fast it would make all of their heads spin.

Whether it happened to other children or not isn't the problem, it's the fact it even happened at all.

I would tell the server about the mistake and the kid not to make a habit of drinking margaritas. Tennessee Burbon has far less salt.

The solution is to NOT take children into a resturant that sells alcohol. My parents NEVER set foot into one of these "bar/grill" type chains when I was growing up.

It seems to me that parents should sip the baby's drink to test it first.

I think someone should have called Child Protective Services to report these dumb parents. The parents should lose their baby.

In Europe, children are served watered down wine all the time by their parents.

Wouldn't sue, but it wouldn't happen with me and my kids. My kids drink milk or water at restaurants, and we usually bring our own milk for the kids anyway. I'll have to see if my kids would even drink anything like a White Russian - that's about the only thing I could see getting confused for milk and how the heck would that end up in a kids cup? Strange situation all around.

I think its a big LIE. People put bugs in food AND liquor in children's cups. What is more possible ...
The waiter put alcohol in a sippy cup . OR
People want free money .
