They passed Paul Ryan's "extreme" budget cuts of $620 billion per year

And the chances of going anywhere in the Senate are about the same as someone winning $200 million in the lotto and then on the way to claim the prize gets struck by lightning..

That is exactly what they wanted to happen;put the democrats on record of a vote for later times.What it does like the small cuts in the budget is set the stage for the future being more like what is happening with state budgets. Its politcs of planning ahead showig that you has a plan which was rejected in times that deficit spoending is becomeing the issue in the country.
