Two gay men say their first-date kiss got them thrown out of a London pub — and turned them into a Twitter sensation.
Jonathan Williams says he and his date, James Bull, were asked to leave after sharing what they described as a "hands-on-the-table" kiss at the John Snow pub in London's Soho, normally known as one of London's gay-friendliest neighborhoods.
I'm gay and even I don't like seeing two guys kissing in public. I consider it rude and crude, and it obviously offends a lot of straight guys. I believe it should only be done in gay-specific places such as gay bars, gay pride events, and of course, private places such as homes and hotel rooms. If anything, we need more straight guys to support us, not be disgusted by us.

If two girls kiss at a bar, it get's video tapped and released on DVD. What's the difference?
I have no problems with displays of affection in public by anyone as long as it doesn't feel like they need "to get a room". a private business has a right to not allow it, but big deal its just a kiss.
There are all different forms of kisses, from an insignificant little peck on the check to a full-blown make-out session, and everything in-between. If they are going at it hot and heavy, then they need to take it private. I do not care if it is homosexuals or heterosexuals, make-out sessions have no business being displayed in public. An innocent peck on the check, however, is completely different. In either case, it is up to the proprietor to determine what is acceptable behavior and what is not.
Lots of things annoy me -- but does that make it any less correct? For example I hate loud little kids, pregnant women rubbing their huge bellies contentedly and glowingly, couples who display PDA, fat people wolfing down food. But I also realize that I'm the intolerant one. People who don't like gay kissing should realize that they are the ones who are jacked up.
Technically the pub is a private establishment so the owners can kick anyone out. But they need to realize they are being hateful and intolerant.

Irrelevant what you think. It's discrimination. Case closed. If they had considered people's opinions when they abolished slavery, they wouldn't have done it.
But seriously. I don't find anything offensive about consenting adults kissing.
