Ridiculous. This should be left to school districts to decide. As long as students aren't exposing their genitals or buttocks, they should be able to wear whatever they want at a public school.
All the schools in my S. Fl. district require uniforms - no baggy pants allowed.
I think students should wear uniforms. Problem solved
I agree that it would solve the problem, but I'm not comfortable with a public school dictating what students have to wear. Maybe if the parents came to a consensus about it, then it might be alright.
I really don't have a problem with state law. Be glad it is not a federal law the way Michell Obama made lunches!
We are seeing the effects of this new school lunch crap.
Kids cannot even get a pack of crackers, nuts, juice or anything extra even if they get their lunch.
They even took away the baskets of fruits kids could buy extra because they said it was not right for kids who have money to purchase in front of those who do not have the extra money.
I do not think we need a federal law, I think we need parents to teach their kids how to dress and act with some values and decency.
No kid with these would be running around looking like an idiot.
