As long as the "liberal" America doesn't have to give its tax money to the "conservative" America, I'd choose liberal every day. The current situation where all the liberal states financially support the conservative states is ridiculous. Most conservative states are simply moochers.

However, libs extrapolate to presume that more conservatives are on welfare and foodstamps than democracts. - that is false
The majority of those on welfare, foodstamps, WIC, and in prison are DEMOCRATS. If liberals pine for a "liberal nation", I would applaud it. It would look like Rhodesia in a few years and an initially prosperous area would turn into a third world hell hole in 20 years.
The sad fact about human nature is that NO MAN wants to work for the PLEASURE OF ANOTHER. This is why we find the concept of slavery so eggregious and repugnant. Unfortunately, there are many bums who are perfectly willing to let others work for them (though public benefits and welfare) if they are dumb enough to do so.
Until the human race becomes one that is not concerned with material items, or relative "wealth" compared to others, socialism will never work. Sign me up for the libertarian nation. I want to be free to live my life and build my business as I see fit. I want a govt whose sole purpose was to protect property rights and protect the flow of commerce. If you want to eat, you better get to work.

That does not jive with the official Libertarian Party platform. They advocate for the complete absence of all government.
No, they advocate for the absence of governmental interference in the life of the person, so long as said person is not interfering with the rights of another person.
It'd be self-defeating for a party to fight for decades, finally win the majority, and then dismantle the very system they fought so hard to rise to the top of, dontcha think?

There would be similar establishments on the liberal side of the border, but taxes and regulations would make them cost-prohibitive compared to those establishments in the libertarian state.
