these youths dont understand, under the liberals we are no longer a nation of workers that actually work, but a nation of 'managers' that produce nearly nothing
Nice job of ignoring we're now a nation of out-sourcing corporations benefitting from cheap labor and the lax rebgulations of third world countries.

Meanwhile, Teabaggers have a rally of 300 - 500 people and the media reports on it. Yeah, liberal media.

The argument to stop progress because some people make money off an outdated system is not a valid argument. Never has been, never will be.

To the OP - while I support and appreciate these students' efforts to evolve us, rallies come through DC all the time for countless causes. Hardly anybody takes notice of most of them unless they are massive like Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity.
This is true. As a DC resident, I hardly ever can discern what any given protester is actually protesting. Other times its about things i've never even heard about.

Anyways, good for them. Any research put into alternative fuels to kill our dependance on fossil fuels is a good thing.

Nothing to say about the Van Jones video...but yet another excuse to use the word "Teabagger"...

..for about the hundredth time. These would be the first generation of kids having AGW jammed down their throats everywhere they turn. Seems the propaganda is working quite well.

Go for it, nothing preventing you from attempting this by paying for it out of your own pocket. The issue is you want everyone to pay for it. The only "powershift" you'll get from the destruction of the fossil fuel industry is an acceleration of the power shifting from the US to to China.

Irrelevant argument in this topic, these things were all market driven. I don't recall anyone clamoring for more expensive electric.
