I like when people throw statistics about std's to make the case against homosexuality...
they totally don't look at the std rates of GAY WOMEN in their studies..
men are sex pigs gay or straight.. gays just get more of it because it's easy..
GAY WOMEN have lowest rates of std's and HPV and HIV than ANY group.. so.. to say gays have disease is false... and goes back to what everyone already knows.. Homophobes only have an issue with gay MEN having sex.. it freaks them out.. disgusts them and they are clinging for every ounce of justification for their mindframe. Nevermind the ENTIRE facts.. and the WHOLE picture.. they'd rather just take a portion of it.. use those numbers to label the whole group and make a case...
we weren't born yesterday... I hope you don't kiss jesus with those lying lips of yours...
It's not even myths and stereotypes, it's misinformation.
The point is that many on the right have such an inane aversion to the unknown. I mean, they choose the label conservative...as in conversation of the past. Thus, new discoveries are in direct contradiction with their core beliefs.
Has this report/study been retracted yet? Has the person(s) responsible been fired and run out on a rail yet?
Yeah, tell us something we don't know.
The sentence you quoted is not in the report as posted.

Yes. But it's also unhealthy for women not to have children (and by extension, sex). Nuns have very little cervical cancer, but a high incidence of breast cancer. Go figure.

Maybe we as straight people need to worry about what's going on on our own community: You know over half of marriages ending in divorce, the alarming number of children in single households, recent and past reports of mothers killing themselves and their children, recent reports of jealous husbands murdering their wives, etc. It would be easy to conclude to that something very wrong is happening in straight households.
Also I have never seen the words anal wart mentioned some many times in my life.
The reason right wing conservatives ignore all those problems, is they are part of the people responsible for it. It's far easier to attack gays, which they personally will likely never have to deal with, then it is to look in the mirror and deal with their own failings.
As Jesus said - Remove the log from your eye before commenting on the speck in another's.

Huh. So really life is unhealthy in of itself...lol.
Practice safe sex, and get the vaccine then you're good to go (yes, I'm talking to all you righties on the down low!).
