Here's the difference...in America, fundamentalists only can dream about a theocracy. Little things like the constitution and bill of rights put (some) limits on what can be accomplished. Islamic countries have no such limitations.

Protest is a freedom enjoyed under a democracy, the point is? FYI, they haven't taken over.
