Video: Obama uses false bridge-collapse argument to argue for more taxes « Hot Air

YouTube - Obama Logic: Raising Taxes On Rich Will Encourage Rick To Keep Their Businesses In America

Quote:
But being from Minneapolis, the implication that the St. Anthony Falls bridge collapse in August 2007 had to do with infrastructure spending isn’t just ignorant of basic civics, it’s downright false and offensive (via Greg Hengler)

Just the latest example of bs to push his agenda

Youre right. Maybe he'll stop bs-ing people sooner or later. The longer people like you give him a pass, the longer he will do it.

What's funny if that in the same speech, he said he wants people to hold him accountable for his screw ups. Lol Problem is, libs won't do that and when people do, he ignores it, denies it, or gets all pissy

I remember when that bridge collapsed and the Left went into a deranged frenzy, demanding that George Bush be called out for failing to fix the hundreds (or was it thousands) of bridges that are dangerously in disrepair. As if it was his fault. Do Minnesota and other states have numerous state government departments that are responsible for bridges, roads, and tunnels?

Fast forward to the Obama era and the huge Stimulus aka Porkulus. I was against it, but I asked, perhaps here, why they did not go out and just pay to fix the thousands (or was it hundreds) of bridges that people had been screaming and foaming at the mouth over just three years earlier.

5 years later and they are still yammering about the rusty thing and blaming it on someone else. Good grief, you spent trillions. Fix the damn thing already, Obama.

Call him what he is - a liar. And he'll never change, because he can't. He's a compulsive liar and always will be. I really think he can't tell the truth if he tried.
