it can be a harmless prank when used in the right situation. Mooning a teacher is not the right context. Maybe not a crime but very stupid and worthy of a suspension. If you moon a cop you should expect to be arrested.

If it was a set of pressed ham hocks on a car window, while driving by, grade them on how well they did, but embarrass them while at it, by doing it in the classroom with disparaging remarks.
It's not so big a deal it can't be handled in such a way that it's dealt with, without having a criminal record.
