Hehe I love these troll threads about Europe! We generally live longer and are healthier, are less likely to be in poverty or a victim of crime, have more free time and a better work-life balance, are more contented with life, live more environmentally friendly lives, we can marry whoever we want, drink under 21, food doesn't have crappy chemicals in it, many of our borders are completely open because we feel secure enough, etc...somebody save us!!!!

Your statement is based on the wrong assumption that those things are free, when in reality they have always been paid for by contributions and taxes. It is a giant redistribution system, not an institutionalized Santa Claus. The Swiss for instance earn a whole lot, but Americans would probably take to the streets if they had to pay taxes the way the Swiss have to.

So each of these cities has recognized sharia law in their official justice systems?

No, people who make blanket statements represented as facts and then cannot back them up are also considered trolls.

Don't forget about the no-go areas, turkish ppl forcing young euro girls into prostitution, sharia law in Britain, rape statistics in Scandinavia where the perpetrator in every case is always foreign born.

Good observations.

This is just an anti-Europe troll fest.

Every time I'm in Europe I see cleaner cities, safer cities, better educational systems, better infrastructure, a population that lives longer and healthier than we do ...

... and in the US? Poverty-stricken ghettos, drug corners, high crime, small city and towns with decaying Main Streets, huge Wal-Marts with acres of parking, crummy public transportation, a railroad system that is years behind Europe's, people working longer hours and having less vacation time off and living shorter lifespans.

There are some things about the US I like better than Europe, however. I do not want to leave, but I want to see some changes.

Is there anything in that poster's post that you disagree with?

Or is it just easy to recognize that he's not a bitter and jaded old man?
