He met the girls on party lines for singles, looking to meet and hook up, first 18-year-old Kiara and then 18-year-old Kimika.

"He wooed Kiara Windom from Harvey and Kimika Coleman from Chicago over the phone, and took each one to his ramshackle apartment in Blue Island.

There, in August 2009, he raped and strangled each girl, and dumped their bodies in an alley — Kiara’s on Chicago’s far Southeast Side, then Kimika’s in Blue Island.

Now 27-year-old Sonny Pierce is charged in their murders, and in the killing of a third teenager in 2010 whose body he will not give up, Cook County prosecutors said Wednesday."

In the third murder, police recovered a videotape Pierce made of himself having what Alvarez described as “violent sexual relations,” with Mariah Edwards of Blue Island in July 2010.

“This 17 year-old girl appears to be lifeless,” Alvarez said. “We believe she was deceased when the video was taken.”

Pierce told police he invited Edwards to his home to rape her in front of other men, and beat her with the men until she was dead, prosecutors said. He has refused to tell police where he dumped her remains, encased in a garbage bag, they said.
