Boeing S.C. plant at heart of labor lawsuit | The Post and Courier, Charleston SC - News, Sports, Entertainment
Quote:
The National Labor Relations Board is seeking a court order that in effect would require Boeing Co. to move its second 787 assembly line to Washington state.

The second line is being built in North Charleston.

The federal agency is alleging in a lawsuit that Boeing engaged in unfair labor practices when it decided in 2009 to build a new $750 million plant at Charleston International Airport rather than assigning the work to its existing unionized 787 factory in Everett, Wash.
I am quite flabbergasted by this move. Actually suing a company to make them move from a right to work state back to one with a union. Talk about government interference!

Further evidence of Unions attempting to exert control over corporations. I look forward to Seattle following the Union Trail to Detroit.

If this isn't an indication that we are on the road to totalitarianism, I don't know what is.

Atlas Shrugged was supposed to be a work of FICTION. Our government is worse than that posed in the novel. Directive 10-289 anyone?

I have to say that this is the worst government intervention into private business I have witnessed to date. I actually had to read the article twice because I couldn't believe it the first time! If this isn't an absolute wake up call to people that our current administration hates private business, I don't know what would be.
