luckily I do without welfare so I should be fine thanks for your concern though.

never in the history of this country has our wealth been so highly concentrated among the super rich and never have they been taxed less. But yea maybe you're right there are too many taxes. Who's needs taxes? Or an educational system? Or roads? Highways? Bridges? Police? Fire fighters? National protection?.....

I agree, and the response you got is more evidence that a lot of these anti-Obama fanatics are just nuts.

I realize that YOU may dream of this country becoming the USSofA but I can assure you that there are more of me than there are of you and THAT will never happen in MY lifetime!
I hate to break the news to you, but the majority of Americans voted for the "Socialist". Assuming you voted for McCain, you were in the minority.

Also, only 22% of Americans identify with Republicans.

Hey I do without welfare myself for the time being too

No need for a Police state, in my eyes... The Police are out of control, they could be cut back and we could stop all the SWAT team Paramiltary training from DHS....

You should agree with me that DHS and the "Patriot Act" is unconstitutional???

Fire departments could be Volunteer with no union, no need for unions to work for BIG GUV....

Roads you can give GUV but no union no bid contracts to work for "The People"....

The military is a given, but there can be no attacks on another country that's not a direct threat to US...

Meaning if your the President you go to Congress before the UN before you entangle THE USA to some BS conflict
that does nothing for US but dig the hole deeper...

Allen West is a retired Army man, Im no expert, but Id listen to him, this is a complicated subject...

Taxes are whats left, and thats HUGE I agree...

Why should anyone give more $$$ to a government that has the largest debt in the history of the world????

Demopubs and Republocrats have lead us to the brink of ruin!!!

We were outraged just like you when they gave all the $$$ to the Banks instead of letting em DIE!!!

So when people that are passionate about trying the Girl we came to the dance with (The Constitution) why not open your mind a bit???

Allen West retired from the US Army, holding the rank of Major, after accepting a plea deal (Article 15) to avoid being courts martialed for mistreating an Iraqi prisoner. By his own admission, the information obtained from the prisoner was worthless and he "might have done wrong."

After military service, like so many Army officers, he went through the revolving door and worked for a "contractor" in Afghanistan, another instance of the military-industrial complex taking care of one of its own.

Among the worst things which can be said about him is that was endorsed by Sarah Palin, which is rapidly becoming the kiss of death in the GOP.

West would be just what we need in the White House: Another faux conservative Republican with close ties to the defense industry. Maybe we could start more wars.

It must be noted, however, that he's one of the very, very, very few Republican politician's who actually dared to put on the uniform and go where he's willing to send other people's children. Unlike Dick Cheney, he didn't have "other priorities."

Yes.

Are we better off than we were before he was elected?

There goes another bomb throwing leftist....

NOBODY says that they are against education, or taxes, or roads, or highway, bridges, police, firefighters or national protection.

The federal government is NOT supposed to be involved in education. But when I say it, immediately I'm considered "anti-education".

When I speak out about how government wastes OUR tax dollars, how excess tax dollars DO NOT go towards lowering the debt, I'm told that I don't care about "the poor".

Infrastructure IS a function of the federal government, yet our infrastructure is crumbling.

National defense IS a function of the federal government, but the left want to defund defense and give to social programs.

Police, firefighters and education are state and local municipalities responsibilities. They are funded by local and state income, sales and property taxes. The problem is that the "employees" of the state and local municipalities now have higher incomes and better benefit packages than their employers...US! "We the People" have run out of money to give. It's time for them to give back.

You leftists should learn what our federal government is limited to.

Now, onto the income disparity myth....

Prior to 1913, there was NO income tax.

What was the average family income back then? About $1,000 annually?

You had multi-millionaires back then as well.

THAT was an income gap!
