I think the democratic party already is (the party of the lower income, poorly educated individual), I think democrats strive to keep that status as well, they certainly exploit it as they see fit.

Well, of course they do. If they didn't then they would have no voting base. Why do you think they work so hard to keep the minorities as slaves of the system?

Since when have the Democrats moved to the right? If anything, the Republicans have moved further left with their out of control spending under Bush, and now made exponentially worse by Obama.

Didn't BO just extend tax breaks for the top one percent during the lame duck session?

First of all, that will never happen. Democrats can do nothing but spend and tax.

But for arguments sake, doubtful. My problem with Dems is far from only about taxes. Entitlement programs, over-regulation, environmental activism, hypocrisy, etc.

Check out the election results in Kentucky between Rand Paul the Tea Party candidate and Jack Conway the Democrat and check out the election results in McCreary County, Leslie Country, Clay County, Knox, Jackson and Martin County. All these county's are listed as among the 100 poorest counties in the country based on per capita income. all of them have less than $11,000 per capita income. All have less then 60% of the population age 25 or older with high school diploma's. All have a population of less than 12% of the population age 25 and over with a bachelor degrees and all have well over 90% of the population White and all of these counties have at least 27% of the population living below the poverty level. All of these counties voted at least 60% for the Tea Party candidate for the U.S Senate Rand Paul.

See your question is flawed from the outset.....The Dem. party is the ones filled with rich white(liberal elite)people.
