Hitler was doing what he thought was right. He was protecting his people. I don't know much about Stalin other than what I was taught in school, so I won't comment on him.
WRONG!

Lack of free speech hurts EVERYONE. There is no way to justify that forbidding religion can be "not a big deal". How sad that you would willingly submit to injustice.

It's not me, it's china. What I am saying is that if you break the law in china, you can expect to be arrested. Why people are surprised by this simple concept, I don't understand.

China is a communist country, and people seems to be surprised when they see communism in action.

I'm not surprised by it, as I clearly said, they've never been known for religious freedom. I was saying that what they are doing is wrong, that the law itself is unjust.

That's fine. But it must be followed until it's changed if you want certainty of not going to jail.

Most people aren't attacking the law here. They are attacking the fact that China is enforcing the law. Which makes no sense to me.

Mind the business of the US and keep your opinion of other countries to yourself.
I have a right to my opinion. Who are you to tell me that I don't?

Don't like it, then maybe you shouldn't be participating in public forums.

A government that fears and outlaws criticism knows it's an illegitimate government. A government that fears people practicing their religion is paranoid.

Unjust laws are made to be broken. Illegitimate governments deserve no respect at all. If greedy, self-absorbed capitalists here would quit propping up that government through outsourcing, it would be rid of quicker. I realize you value ink soaked rag paper more than freedom. Read some Thoreau some time.

Leave it to a money worshiper to defend Hitler.

There's not much understanding of freedom in NJ, though, is there?

These are all your opinions. There are no universal rules on what makes a legit government.

I'll understand his reasons. but do not defend his execution. And what exactly makes me a money worshipper? I'm not one of those people that wastes 8 hours/day trying to make money.

Do you think that people in NJ don't have an understanding of freedom? I don't get what you are even implying.

What you don't understand is that if you are doing something illegal, there are consequences... no matter what country you are in.

I lived in a complex here in SF where a bunch of Chinese missionaries were put up by a local foundation. My god, were they annoying...

I applaud the Chinese government for their actions and will certainly order some kung pao tofu tonight!
