Your attempt to equate the right's attitude toward 0bama and Jackson, is not even close to what the OP was referring to.
All you need to do is look at the elections in 2008 and 2010, it was the candidates, staff and their campaigns that brought racism and sexism into politics.
It was Bill Clinton who said the race card was pulled on him, and it was 0bama who falsely claimed the republican national committee and the McCain campaign would make campaign ads disparaging his race, appearance and ethnicity.
It was elected democrats who made racist and sexist comments, not republicans.

Once again the tortuous logic of Republican bending the meaning of hate crimes and racism to such a point that they have absolutely no lexicological meaning.

Considering the epithets hurled at folks like Obama, Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton, conservatives really shouldn't be looking for pity parties.

Sadly, you are correct. And that goes for inner cities as well, where his "projects" essentially became warehouses of suffering, rife with despair, hopelessness, and multigenerational dependency. America has paid and continues to pay for his supposed "Great Society" initiatives a thousand-fold.
