My question is; if Trump by some fluke of history actually gets elected what is he going to do, call a presidential press conference every time some says something critical of him. I ask because he spends more time going after critics than he does actually saying anything about national policies.

I have to agree.
You hear people cheering him on, but nobody seems to have a clue where he stands on the issues (other than obamas birth certificate)

He donates $$ to far left Progressives in areas where he does business. Meaning he gives in expectation of a return on his investment.

He is pro eminent domain. I have a real problem with a candidate who does no repsect private property rights.

He is a "spoiler" and a distraction.

I like that he is talking about manufacturing, bringing jobs back, and getting tough on the trade imbalance with China. That needs to be discussed seriously. But that is not reason to consider him a candidate.

IMO, last thing this country needs is another narcissist with "American Idol" popularity who is all about him. We have that now with Obama.

Trump is a douche. It's written all over his face. Now, why doesn't everyone else see this?

I'm unlikely support Trump but I certainly won't pay any attention to DeNiro or any other actor for polical advice. But if you read between the Line mnay politican do just the same. Now many have Obama named as evil at this point?Latest was when asked about gas prices.he got right on the evil oil company solgan to avoid things like energy politcy. Its the norm now it seems in last few years.

Because people are stupid and only care about style over substance. How do you think Obama won? All Obama needed was a catchy slogan. Trump is appealing now because he's attracting attention like an annoying little chihuahua making your head turn because they won't stop yapping. Trump IS the Republican Obama, make no mistake about it. Him and Obama are the American Idol presidents. I don't trust Trump at all. I'm naturally wary of any billionaire running for office, because no one gets that rich without gaming or being part of the "system".

I'm not voting for Trump in the primary, no way. My vote's going to Ron Paul first, Gary Johnson second, and Daniels for 3rd.

Paul/Johnson 2012!

Totally agree with what you've written there. No idea who I'll be voting for, but it won't be Trump or Obama.

I don't understand it, are people out of their minds, I think so.
When Seinfeld didn't appear at his function, I was thinking more in show business would follow, I'm glad De Niro said something.

Exactly. Is he going to respond to every critic? He reminds me of Palin in that regard but honestly if he ran against Obama I'd vote for him.
