Tea Party: the re-branding and re-marketing of the Republicon Party so they don't have to account for their screw ups from 2000-2008.

(and y'all have fallen for it) ((even you liberals))

on midterm election night I kept hearing (from the Mainstream Liberal Biased Media of course /sarcasm) "tea party candidate" and I spent some time trying to figure out which color they choose to represent the "new" party, I was thinking yellow, but much to my chagrin it was red, me thought that was already taken?

Yes, he works for a corporation, and he's just playing a scripted money-making part. His fans are too dumb to figure it out.

The Republican establisment as well as the chamber of commerce hates the Tea Party in most states.

Right. It is like responding to the babbling of an idiot, which never deserves a response. If he actually had some intelligent ideas, then a debate might be warranted. However, his rhetoric lacks any sense or cohesive thought process and is laced with hateful diatribes. The man is a moron. I would be equally engaged by chatting with my black lab.

He consideres himself an entertainer and is always amazed that anyone takes him seriously anyway. Why it would cause this much discussion, who knows.

Most don't know who Bill Maher even is and his opinion means little to anyone IMO.

Ah, I see, I don't understand politics but you, of course, do. Have I called Obama a socialist? Is your method of discussion here to try and put down or insult fellow members?

Frodo, what's up with you? You keep digging up old threads and resurrecting them.

Maher owns rightwing extremists. They have no chance countering his arguments and they know it. I give him credit for using kid gloves on his show with his guests, however, as he just gives them all the rope they need. And there is always the off chance they get a sensible conservative on his show like David Frum, but most are typical Republicans.

We live in the age of a corporately owned mainstream media that rarely, if ever, allows honest discussion and criticism on real issues, and it takes comedians like Maher and Jon Stewart to tell the uncensored truth.

Sad indeed.
