Why use a poor commie totalitarian state as your example? South Korea has not banned travel, Japan has not banned travel, China has not banned travel, Australia has not banned travel, India has not banned travel....

OK, so Kim Jong Un's government has banned travel into North Korea, which means the few dozen tourists that would otherwise visit his country each month to get a first hand look at his backwards, repressive communist regime are out of luck.

He's probably not even concerned about ebola (millions of his people are starving to death or dying in labor camps, so why would he suddenly begin to care for their welfare now?). It's more likely that he's staging massive purges and is using ebola as an excuse to block outsiders from witnessing it.

While I don't think much of the current president, or the last 3 for that matter, I believe he is going off of the CDCs recomendations on this. If not, he is as big a fool as the Right says he is.

You really think that Obama should ban all tourism in the US?

North Korea gets 30,000-40,000 tourists per year - mostly Chinese, but some 3,000 or so Westerners too.

OK, so you are still suggesting Obama should ban tourism then? (Something which he doesn't even have the power to do...since, you know, we aren't a repressive Cold War leftover dictatorship.)
