Even if it was a state wedding I seriously doubt he'd attend.
That's why I like him a lot, despite the fact that he is not producing any tangible results yet. And I'm sure, he'll remedy that in the next six years

Actually, that's the second silverware-stealing joke in this thread. So it's not even original horse's-ass-ness.

If he wants to call himself a prince that's up to him.

Here in the United States he's just a kid from a rich family. We were smart enough to get rid of kings and queens, princes and princesses a long time ago.

Nothing like de-classing a royal wedding!

More likely they didn't want another "gift" of an iPod loaded with obama's speeches.

Thanks for the heads-up - I don't have time to read through these silly threads myself so I rely on the obama apologists to let me know if my comments have already been posted. I have deleted my post and I hope all credit for the witticism redounds to the original poster...

Because he has no personal relationship with them. Possibly, they are still stinging from 0bama's sharp rebuke. Less then one month in office, as president, and 0bama returned the gift the UK gave us; the bust of Winston Churchill.

A bust of the former prime minister once voted the greatest Briton in history, which was loaned to George W Bush from the Government's art collection after the September 11 attacks, has now been formally handed back.
