Donald Trump put the nail in the coffin of the birther issue, an issue the Obama administration could have defused very early on, but let fester and grow to use as a weapon to label the GOP as looney and racist.
And Trump killed it. He took it right off the board as an issue in 2012...no October surprise, no more Sunday morning talk show hosts badgering GOP politicians if they really thought he was born in the US.
So what is Obama going to run on now, his record? The economy, job creation, housing, war? Hah!
I think we are seeing a landslide defeat for Obama coming up.

I think that President Obama will NOT actually run in 2012. Instead, he will have Joe Biden run, with Mr. Obama as VP. Biden will be elected easily. However, it will be understood that Mr. Obama calls the shots.
Then, in 2016, Mr. Obama will again run for President. He will win again. I have not decided whom he will pick for his VP (since Biden will be too old).

This is some breathtakingly amazing spin. Obama's campaign was never remotely about his birth certificate, Donald Trump's was.
