Yea, but it's small and no one cares except the locals.

Besides, they don't fit the description that you'd need to make anyone angry about this.

The poorest part of the United States is probably 1 of the 5 US territories; most likely either American Samoa or the US Virgin Islands. Puerto Rico is actually the wealthiest of the 5.

And nothing to show for it either lol. 45% live in poverty. Can't imagine what Guam, AS, and USVI are like. Although Guam has the benefit of defense dollars being poured into the local economy

I read some articles from the Israeli press that rise of ultra-orthodoxy is becoming a huge issue in Israel. The ultra-orthodox Jews spend their entire life studying religious text and nothing else. A lot of Israeli government officials and intellectuals are becoming increasingly worried about the future of the country's economy. The economy cannot be globally competitive if a majority of the country's citizens only study one subject - the Torah.
