The Chicago way appears to be the mean spirited punishment of the people of an entire state when Obama doesn't like the Governor. It is a disturbing pattern of behavior we can see repeated from the Obama administration's actions with AZ.
And.....hardly a peep if anything at all from the media. If this was Bush they'd have been all over it like there's no tomorrow. Anyone remember Katrina? Also, how can Houston, the mecca of the U.S. space program, not be getting a shuttle to display? This is just further proof that Oblahblah is an utter disgrace- not that we needed any more.
You don't think Texas pays into the federal government for that aid like every other state? You condone the actions of a spiteful POTUS? Really?
This is the same Gov. Perry who met Obama on the tarmac, extended his hand to greet the POTUS, and was ignored, last year.
Yeah, Obama's a classy act alright. It seems some think such displays are acceptable from the POTUS. This time Obama hurts the people of Texas, not just a political jab at Gov. Perry. But, maybe you think that is acceptable too.
Really? Perry stuck out his hand and Obama ignored him huh?

What US president has NOT acted in such a way? I can't think of a single one who didn't punish states who didn't vote for him or in which he didn't like the governor or a mayor.
This really is politics at its worst. Obama should step up and act like the President. Thus far, in this situation, I have not seen him do so.
But he is. He's acting like the President he wants to be. Our head of state, our head entertainer. And now, like Bush, the great decider, 'I've never seen devastation like this.' So, he wasn't looking.

It's the Press that isn't all it should be. They didn't mention his plans, only his rhetoric.

Really, which states and Presidents did that when disaster relief was requested?
I thought they were praying for rain?? I also thought Texas didn't want to be apart of the union? Didn't they turn down stimulus money? Perry needs to hide in a very dark place.
He has gotten people killed when he released some prisoners from Guantanamo and they went back to the battlefield against our soldiers.
If they were held illegally without trial, we wouldn't be in the position of having to release folks..Oh yeah, and that illegal torture thing. Ship happens when you do shippy things.
Wait a minute. Isn't this same Rick Perry who bragged Texas didn't any any federal stimulus money? Isn't this the same Rick Perry who chastised Obama for even pushing for the stimulus bill? Isn't this the same Rick Perry who goes on about bloated federal spending and the need to cut back?
Well...I guess his "priniciples" only extend to the point where he wants some of that federal spending, huh? First, it was Obama's fault for offering federal money, and now it's his fault for NOT offering it.
Come on, Rick. Ya can't have it both ways.
So you agree with Obama withholding federal money?
Then maybe you would agree with Texans withholding their federal income tax payments.
