Yep, we are when it comes to this stuff. Go out and break a US sanction, go print a false ID and see if you don't wind up behind bars. Maybe not with this President, but normally you'd be in jail for those things.

I think I found a clue in the article:

Two were convicted of unlawful production of an identity document and one was convicted of transferring funds out of the country in violation of U.S. sanctions.”

They MUST be the ones who forged the long form birth certificate!

From the article, looked like 2 cases of fake ID and one of breaking the rules about transfering funds out of the country - neither of which are hanging offenses.
I never suggested they be hung. However, I do question the wisdom of this country granting citizenship to anyone with a criminal past, regardless of the severity of the convictions.

I see unlawful production of identity as identity theft. I don't think any illegal alien who has faked his/her identity to get into this country or to work here should be granted citizenship. But then, I don't hang with the criminal element and diminish the consequences of criminal choice either as do some.

I didn't see any visa violation mentioned in the article? Could be dumbass teenagers faking an ID to buy booze, for all we know.

Insufficient data.

It goes to show who Obama likes, as compared to hard working people who would be good for the country. I think it shows exactly what Obama is all about, and it isn't good for our country at all.

I'm with you on this. Why in the hell would we grant these convicts, citizenship, knowing what we did about them, why!

Don't like the truth? Oh well, so sorry, so sad, but the facts are the facts and Obama has shown that he is not for what is best for the country at all.

Consider the countries we have sanctions against - category II terrorism charges??? Gives you a warm, safe fuzzy feeling to welcome these new citizens.
