"It seems like a good warning. Rachel Dolezal's actions are a potential pitfall for any White people on the journey towards recognizing the truth of what it means to be White and accepting responsibility for it. But we cannot not be White. And we cannot undo what Whiteness has done. We can only start from where we are and who we are."

I think its amusing how so many people take skin color so seriously, its like people using their hair color to identify their culture and who they are
"Omg us brunettes are so violent and radical i must dye my hair blonde!"
My thoughts? Geez, the internet gives everyone a forum...
"I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
That day is here actually, it just doesn't exist on political forums like this and on most American nes media outlets (CNN, FOX, MSNBC, The Daily Show)
Go out to the store in real life or go out to a restaurant and no one is really worried about skin color and racism everyone is just enjoying the day... turn on CNN and its like a race war

I'm having a whiteout. In June no-less. If you have never had one, it's a lot like a blackout, but your still somewhat conscious.

I agree, the worst of the worst gets the media attention.
From the article: "Rachel Dolezal is a fascinating case study in White racial identity development" No, no she's not. She's a lying sack of **** who race hustled her way to prestige positions by talking down to black people, **** talking about white people, and protraying an entire region as "Whitopia" and "Whiteville" all while obstructing justice in a public trust position, lying, inventing fake hate crimes, plagiarizing black art, and judging other people for their skin color.
She's a piece of ****. Not a topic of conversation about "our whiteness" or color or content of character. Find something else to write about you hack of a race traitor, you have no original thought in your head and you're just repeating the axioms and code words to the Brahmin of the social class you wish to belong to (nb:they don't want you either).
Crap. Crap and more crap.

Utter poppycock.
I'm quite content with who I am (which includes being white of European descent). I rather enjoy the benefits of Western Civilization and appreciate from whom they came.
