The good news for the moonbats:

Now you have excuse/rebuttal number three:

1. Racists

2. BBBBBBut George W. Bush

3. It took Obama to get Osama (even though all he did was sign off on an operation after 4 years of intelligence gathering that started before he was in office)

Bin Laden was found at luxurious Pakistan compound - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20110502/ts_nm/us_binladen_compound_1 - broken link)

i am thinking that both sides are seeing this through a prism that isn't even dealing with what actually is actually happening here.

this is a good post analyzing this from denninger's market ticker

Some of this hoopla is all made up. People celebrating the death of OBL are also chanting "four more years"? Seriously? Obama supporters are AGAINST the wars! Did they pay a bunch of college kids to show up at the White House or something?

I have a very bad feeling...and yes, I do think OBL was possibly killed years ago and this is likely a made-up story to help Obama, who has been seriously struggling. And God forbid it results in a real terrorist attack or they manufacture something else.

This is NOT GOOD.

If OBL really has been killed (recently), they should have just kept quiet about it. That would have been the right thing to do security-wise. It's not like Americans had him in their radar at all recently. WHY even bring it up? Most people I knew figured he'd already died somewhere, maybe just from natural causes. So why make this big stink about now? It's all a show to make Obama look good.

Or maybe his administration really is that stupid. They think that the adulation is more important than keeping Americans safe

I don't know what to think. But this feels wrong to me. (end)

let me add to this, seriously, why would you announce ANYTHING like this when you still have troops over there and the radicals would likely be inflamed?

where, oh where, is the common sense? did somebody just accidentally forget that we still have soldiers over there?

isn't the whole point to be protecting americans?

I give credit to Obama for following in George W. Bush's footsteps. Isn't that the type of credit that Leftists just LOVE to hear? LOL

Because that's exactly what has happened. Seems to me the pie is in your face, Lefty.

Not sure if I would use the rants of individuals of either party on the CD forum as being indicative of anything the average American is thinking.

This forum is heavily skewed to the extreme of both parties.

The killing of OBL helps put some piece of closure to 9/11. It is good for this country, no matter which party you belong to. The President made the right call (and I'm definitely not a great supporter of him).

Face it, America Rules! and that's all I got to say about that.

This just in: Repulicans would rather OBL live on than Obama get ANY credit for anything

That is incorrect and very misleading. This is not a partisan moment, as much as you want to turn it into one.

I give him a lot of credit for staying the coarse, set by GW. Bush at a time in our history, not unlike Pearl Harbor.
