This forum is heavily skewed to the extreme of both parties.

The killing of OBL helps put some piece of closure to 9/11. It is good for this country, no matter which party you belong to. The President made the right call (and I'm definitely not a great supporter of him).

Some time after Sept. 11, detainees held by the U.S. told interrogators about a man believed to work as a courier for bin Laden, senior administration officials said. The man was described by detainees as a protégé of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and “one of the few Al Qaeda couriers trusted by bin laden.”

Initially, intelligence officials only had the man’s nickname, but they discovered his real name four years ago.

ABBOTTABAD, Pakistan (Reuters) - Pakistan declared the killing of Osama bin Laden a "major setback" to global terrorism, but it will inevitably come under pressure to explain how the al Qaeda leader was holed up in a mansion near a military facility.

Bin Laden was killed in a dramatic night-time raid by U.S. helicopters and troops on his hideout in Abbottabad, home to Pakistan's main military academy and less then two hours' drive from the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

We all knew this though, didn't we? We have known for years the two "factions" within Pakistan, one of which is pro-terrorist and also within the ranks of the military and intelligence.

They have some explaining to do.
