I hope you're right...I said the same thing about W (who I depised) in 2003 after he caught Saddam.....W only got relected in 2004, barely, thanks to shadiness by Ken Blackwell.
So, you never know, but it's a big shot in the arm and the Pugs can't say he's weak on defense now.
I knew Obama would catch him. Why? Because he was going about this intelligently. Bush and the Neo Cons always repeated that this was a "war like no other" and then proceeded to fight it like every war prior.
Obama employed forward thinking technology, in this case the power of drones, looking to Pakistan to find this murderer and coward successfully in about 2.5 years. The GOP will still lie, claiming he's weak on defense later on, but it will only make them look foolish, petty and desperate.
Between the monumental legislation he has passed, health care reform, saving our auto industry, keeping us out of the second depression and killing OBL, Obama will go down as one of the most effective Presidents of our generation.
Thank you Armed Forces of the United States. UBL has meet justice because you paid the price to make it happen. You endured primitive conditions and physical hardship that those who never served will ever know. You missed birthdays, graduations and anniversaries. You spent Christmas and New Years in the cold and dark while your loved ones never really relaxed knowing where you were and what you were sent there to do. Well, you've done you duty and we couldn't be more proud of you.
