Why do people feel American's have to pussyfoot around people's feelings and people that don't care about us.

You know, playing "nice" isn't always the answer when you're playing with extremes. I think some of you people need to try your "be nice to everyone" attitude and try it in a boxing ring, hockey game, and with a pack of raging pitbulls.

Report how being nice works out for you. It doesn't, you're in a situation like that, hit harder and make them fear you.

Look, a very small number of people were out in the streets celebrating Bin Laden's death. Like, .001%. Most of the rest of us were asleep at the time.

I was awake, having a couple beers with some friends. Our reaction was, "wow, that's nuts." And we continued to sit there and talk about music.

The same liberals who are complaining about Americans celebrating the death of Osama Bin Laden, are the same liberals who would be jumping for joy if George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump and Sean Hannity all died in a plane crash together.

Liberals have always hated conservatives a million times more than they do Islamic terrorists.

But chants of USA, USA and celebrating just tell me that there is something seriously wrong with Americans and we're no better than anyone else on this planet - no more evolved, basically savages. I know I am not the only one out there who sees it that way. I know there is at least one other person who does. Anyone here?
You have it backward. The barbarians & savages were the ones who came here, hijacked planes full of innocent civilians & crashed them into buildings, killing all on the planes & many on the ground. The barbarians & savages are the Muslims in Afghanistan who rioted and killed people when an American pastor burned the Koran. The barbarians & savages are the suicide bombers in Iraq who killed bus loads of school children. These Americans were just celebrating the death of a cockroach, a cockroach who even had his body treated with some degree of respect by the heroes who killed him. I wouldn't care if they had cut his head off and put it on a post in the public square nearby. Then they could have torn the pages out of his Koran and used them for toilet paper.

Save your tears for someone more deserving.

Indeed.

There are many things I think about that I have strong convictions for that I know I should not speak of. Some would call that dishonest. I would call it tactful and having the ability to be discreet.

Hee hee. Pure silliness. Pure delusion. And besides, you forgot Limbaugh.

Totally understand the rationale here. I play hoops with a really competitive bunch. We play hard and fair and when it's over we respect. But there is no love lost in the game.

Part of the problem here is that the enemy is not so obvious as the opponent of a sporting match or even a conventional war. Just who is "them"?

Your's is a more real picture of what America did. I slept myself. However, all it takes is footage of a few to be broadcast around the globe and the perception can end up quite different than the reality. I'm sure that has happened on all sides just as we supposedly saw "all" of Palestine celebrating the fall of the Towers. Propaganda perhaps?

Well said and cuts right to the hypocritical heart of many liberals.
