I wouldn't dare challenge your "facts". After all, even if the USA as a nation would take offense to Americans being subjected to torture, or more specifically waterboarding, by the enemies, you would definitely stick with your "facts".

Did you want the special forces unit to give Osama his Miranda rights first?

You obviously can't control yourself, you'll just find any way to weasel out a nitpick at liberals.

There's a difference between shooting someone who in the past is responsible for thousands of deaths and is unwilling to cooperate in the midst of a firefight, and waterboarding a prisoner who is handcuffed and poses no harm to his/her captors.

Not that what I say will make any difference to you.

"Let me put it to you like this: I never raise my hand to a guy if I think he’s guilty or I'm trying to find out if he’s guilty. But if I'm sure he’s guilty, and the case is going to walk unless I raise my hand, I do what I gotta do."

Because the military knows that a captured American soldier might be subjected to it, and the object is to help that soldier be prepared and not panic when it happens. When your body believes that you're drowning, the "fight or flight" response kicks in and you might confess to anything, like asserting that you really are the Pope.

To try and prepare them for the possible effects of torture, I imagine.

But that would mean the U.S. "tortures" its own military personnel.

3 terrorists were had water put up their nose (waterboarding). 3. Big deal!

They are facts which can't be denied, which is why you haven't denied them!

No, but this thread is about the lefties who were so concerned about the poor babies at Gitmo, they seem to have changed their tune, also known as hypocrisy.

Cheers!
