How little you know. Who is more judgemental than Almighty God? He makes the judgement whether to send you to hell or heaven, correct? Since God made us in His image (personality traits as well) then it is by nature that we are judgemental now isn't it? And you're fooling yourself if you think you are not. You judge people on the regular, by the way they dress, conduct themselves, positions they hold, who their friends are, their grammar, where & how they live, & the list goes on & on.
Quoting scripture is correct, yet there are other scriptures that will reinforce my references, it's all in the book.
God is not against gays. Stop misusing the clobber passages that have nothing to do with gays. The Biblical authors didn't know what gay or homosexual meant.
God is not turning his back on America, God does not side with random modern day countries.
Sodom and Gomorrah had nothing to do with homosexuality.
Jesus never said a single word about gays. He did, however, strongly criticize self-righteous conservatives like yourself. Something to think about.

Chances are you couldn't quote anything that God said, since you like so many others haven't got a clue who God is or what He stands for. You go by what you "think" or how you "feel", but your feelings are the equivalent of those of a ant because you are not in charge contrary of what you think.
Homosexual doesn't exist in the Bible, Quran, or Tanakh - the word wasn't invented yet, nor did anyone have any conception of what it was.
There are only 3 same-sex behaviors that the Biblical authors would have been familiar with: rape, prostitution, and pederasty.

I've had lots of Christians tell me the Bible does condemn homosexuality. They tend to quote the Old Testament and talk about Sodom and Gomorrah. I've had lots of Christians tell me the Bible does not "look down" on or condemn homosexuality. They usually say things like the 10 Commandments never mentions it, none of the prophets ever addressed it, Jesus never condemned it, and then go on to explain that the stories of Sodom and Gomorrah have nothing to do with homosexuality whatsoever - that people who claim it does are translating it incorrectly. I've even had Christians tell me the Bible affirms same-sex relationships. They usually talk about David and Jonathan.
Frankly I don't care. Christian myths and the Bible play no part in my life. I don't pay them any credence whatsoever.

Do you know for certain the act written about was simply gay sex? Read up on the practices of the day such as cultic temple prostitution etc. Knowing more about the times the bible was written may help you not be so judgmental and condescending, all things that aren't a good witness.
What does any of what you say have to do with government involvement in marriage?
who says homosexuality is unfitting of what god see's fit? who are you to judge the path of others? you got god on speed dial? or do you get that hateful little belief from one of those old rag books with middle eastern roots people like to reference so much?

Find a verse that says marriage must be licensed by government.
Here's a good break down of the biblical references to homosexuality through the Patriarchal, Mosaic and Christian ages. Note the term arsenokoites (men who practice homosexuality), and malakos. It is described as vile passions and foreign skin.

Thereafter, purely out of sexual ideology, the translation has shifted to particular sexual acts/orientation. There is no more evidence to support this shift than there was the earlier one to effeminate.
