In order to be able to intelligently respond to your question without appearing either dumb or just plain misinformed,
I'd imagine that you would have needed to provide a contrasting reference source or some subjective issue, wherein a responder
might be able to make that judgement. Are you referring to things political, perhaps our awareness of where the government is
wanting to lead us, directing those complicit propaganda mills which feed and fill our minds with whatever it is that they want us
to believe? Isn't it also possible that many have been lulled into a falsely based sense of complacent trust in our leaders, accepting
all of which they are guided into believing, largely because their particular station in life has kept them from feeling the discomfort
that is generally felt by the masses? Would you concede that there are others who've kept blinders over their eyes, content to see
only what their hardened hearts or their captive minds would never stand even a remote chance to see, lest until they reach such a
state of discomfort that those blinders are forcefully yanked from their eyes?

Sometimes, the "dumbing-down" of the people is done through misinformative issuance of government sponsored propaganda,
foremost in mind, would be to recollect that comically famous film, "Reefer Madness" which also had a greater basis in physical science,
than it offered to the field of mental health, since it has unequivocably proved an ageless belief, that doo-doo floats...

A lady at my job before HC reformed was passed told me her health ins. went up because of Obama. Thats pretty uninformed. I believe most are uninformed and many do not have a lot of intelligence.

Too many Americans are dumb and misinformed.....the % of birthers, even if it's below 50% is way too high and outlets like Faux are to blame. That % should be below 10% and made up of old white folks from the midwest and the south....it isn't though, which proves my yes.

I wish it were not so but look who we elected as president. Does not suggest an intelligent and informed majority.

Couldnt agree more.

The priorities of Americans are not on who their leaders will be and how they will go about leading them, they are on things like who their next american idol will be and who is #1 on the billboards this week and features will be on the next Iphone. Its pitiful and pathetic really

My point is when you make the statement you made, which I quoted, you are not going to be taken seriously.

Generalizing a state of 25 million people in the way that you did is the absolute height of intellectual laziness.

But sure, Bush is dumb, Obama is God, blah blah blah lets kick Texas out of America. Good grief.
