Ok so maybe I missed it...but WHY did they dump Bin Ladens body in the sea so quickly? (enemy, Obama)

Sup? How ya all been? I know I have been "hidden" lately. I haven't been on the forums in a long time like how I used to be. So I figured I'd make a thread, lol.
I call it how it is. Very fishy. Too fishy for my liking. What was the need to go and dump Osamas body in the sea less than 24 hours after we finally caught him?
Something is fishy. I tried looking but couldn't find an explanation. Perhaps something I missed?
Something about a Muslim Burial, trying to keep him from being a Martyr and hoping it pacifies the enemy is all I have found so far. All sounds like BS.
Aboard the USS Carl Vinson, the burial of bin Laden was done in conformance with Islamic precepts and practices. The deceased's body was washed and then placed in a white sheet. The body was placed in a weighted bag; a military officer read prepared religious remarks, which were translated into Arabic by a native speaker. After the words were complete, the body was placed on a prepared flat board, tipped up, and the deceased body eased into the sea.
The burial at sea was done within 24 hours to comply with Islamic requirements, complete with Muslim prayers and a washed body wrapped in a white sheet. And at sea for the reasons mentioned in post #2.
Yeah but why the sea? Aren't they supposed to be buried in land facing Mecca? It doesn't matter what we did or didn't do with his body. They hate us still. Always have and will.
Did Osama let the people he killed have their rites? Why is the USA becoming so pussified?
Muslim law says to bury a body within 24 hours. The object was to get the mission completed, from start to finish before releasing the news. They didn't want a grave site on land that would become a shrine so he was buried at sea, after preparing the body according to Muslim law i.e. washing by another Muslim (a sailor on board the ship from which he was buried) and then wrapped in a linen shroud and buried with the traditional Islamic prayers.
At least, that's the story as of right now. Stay tuned. It might change again tomorrow.
