I have said it for a long time here that Obama is a gift.
His election guaranteed that liberalism is going to die in America and that the reps will take back the congress and WH.
The gift of Obama has been great and thanks to him liberalism is a dying thing in America!
Why should Palin give credit to Obama, what did he do other then order the murder of an unarmed man and his family. Sure it is great we got him but I think he went about it the wrong way and we will pay for his bad decision in time.
With the two sentences of "we thank our President. We thank President Bush," right next to each other, a reasonable person could conclude that when she's speaking to Colorado Christian University, that "our President" was "President Bush."
She could have just as easily mentioned Obama by name. She's leaving just enough plausible deniability to say otherwise though, the same as her playing footsie with birthers. It's just like Fox News putting a question mark on inflammatory anti-Democratic Party statements in order to leave a fig leaf of objectivity while putting ridiculous talking points into the mainstream. Palin here is probably trying to say that Bush was responsible for everything, while leaving just enough plausible deniability to claim the opposite when asked a follow up.
Just like Glen Beck the other night when he said "..Kill Obama; I mean Osama.."
it's sad really. This is a time we should be raising our arms hand in hand and rejoicing but Palin's pettiness really shows her character...or lack of I should say.
Actually, Sarah can't get enough of Sarah. If it weren't for the fact that she's raking in big bucks to wink and say, "You betcha!," she'd be a distant memory for most Americans. Her poll numbers among registered Republicans are abyssmal, so she just keeps inserting herself into the media spotlight, whether her appearance is wanted or not. We'd all feel safer if she stayed on her porch with binoculars, watching for invading Russians.
