We give credit to Ronald Reagan for the mess we have in Afghanistan and Pakistan right now. We give credit to Reagan for the rise of the Taliban, and ultimately, al qiada (sp).

I just cannot wait for president obama to discover the cure for cancer right in the oval office. all the right wing would say is "if it wasn't for us repealing his healthcare bill so patience with pre existing conditions could obtain healthcare he wouldn't have found the cure".

Why should Palin give credit to Obama, what did he do other then order the murder of an unarmed man and his family. Sure it is great we got him but I think he went about it the wrong way and we will pay for his bad decision in time.
While I agree with most of your posts, we'll have to disagree on this one. Osama, presently armed or not, was constantly planning to kill US citizens (of both parties) and needed to die. The world is a safer place without him. And even if he didn't have a gun in his hands, you know they had a cache there. Has was dangerous and he had already killed thousands of our citizens (AND thousands of Muslims).
He deserved no mercy, and neither do the rest of his cohorts. I hope the body count continues to rise.

With the two sentences of "we thank our President. We thank President Bush," right next to each other, a reasonable person could conclude that when she's speaking to Colorado Christian University, that "our President" was "President Bush."
She could have just as easily mentioned Obama by name. She's leaving just enough plausible deniability to say otherwise though, the same as her playing footsie with birthers. It's just like Fox News putting a question mark on inflammatory anti-Democratic Party statements in order to leave a fig leaf of objectivity while putting ridiculous talking points into the mainstream. Palin here is probably trying to say that Bush was responsible for everything, while leaving just enough plausible deniability to claim the opposite when asked a follow up.
I'll say one thing for her, at least this ignorant delusional hillbilly is consistent.
