Bush declined an invitation to join Obama in New York, but the president will walk in his predecessor’s footsteps - and not comfortably. For bin Laden’s capture has only highlighted the argument of many former Bush administration officials that Obama has continued more of their policies than he cares to admit.
I think this highlights the truth in that it's easy to lob attacks about policies that are in place that may not be popular, but are undeniably effective. I'm glad to see that Obama has graduated to training pants and realized that many of the policies from the Bush administration that he railed against, are actually the best options available. But, this is what you get when you elect someone with no executive experience whatsoever. There is a huge learning curve. I'm just happy that he is actually learning and not digging in his ideological heels.
Bush should get all the credit...BUT Obama is responsible for not doing the right thing and taking him alive and give him a trial and than have him receive the death penalty like a Western Country treats their prisoners.
I'm glad Osama is dead, but after hearing that he didn't have a gun, I'm now changing my mind and think this will cause more harm to the USA!

Most of the people in the compound were ARRESTED and handcuffed. Why not Bin Laden?
I don't think the Democrats could survive a trial if Bin Laden were allowed to testify and reveal what was in the documents that Sandy Berger destroyed from the National Archives during the 9/11 hearings about Bill Clintons handling of terrorism.
